Ernie's Endorsement of the Week

Hands: we're pretty sure these things are bound to be very popular. They are very versatile: they can be used to grab things to put in your mouth, or even go directly into your mouth themselves in a pinch! You can hold others' hands with them or even your own hand. Yes, Ernie will be a benevolent ruler once he harnesses their complete power.

A few complaints about hands we're hoping will be addressed: the nails grow too fast, and it's impossible to keep them still to be trimmed. This leads to all kinds of problems, not the least of which is vigorously rubbing your eyes. Also, they only come in one flavor (not a lot of foresight there).

Ernie loves him some Pates!

It was Amber's 10-year High School Reunion this past weekend, and we were lucky enough to host Shelley (Koenen) Pate and her handsome (and muscular!) five-year old son, Konen. Ernie loved them as much as we do!

I have a blog now!

Greetings family and friends!

We're establishing this blog for Ernie, not because we are deluded into thinking everything about our lives is interesting (it isn't), but so those that love and miss little Ern and live far away (or are moving far away, or live kinda close but not close enough) can at least get a periodic Ernie "fix."
