All the Pretty Flowers

We took Ernie out to see the first hibiscus blossoms of the year, but he was happier to spend time with the flowers closest to his eye level this morning.

Playdate with Cousin Kitt!

Ernie can say "Kitt!" Well, it sounds more like "Dit" which should make Uncle "Dim" feel better. He had a great time hosting the Wells and showing them the wonders of the Woods Spray Park!

Pioneer Park

Dad and Aunt Laura took Ernie to the spot where Mom and Dad were married while Mom was on a business trip in Cheyenne. They got some funny pictures of him there.

Family Vacation

We went back with the Mohrs to Horseshoe Bend, Arkansas for our family trip. We had three seperate condo units, so Ernie got his own room and the adults just hung out in our condo when he was in bed to play cards. There was a lot of nice relaxing and TONS of swimming, which kept Ernie happy.

We rented a pontoon boat for an afternoon. Ern got tired of his hot lifevest before the two hours were up, but most of the time he kept himself happy on the boat feeding everyone blueberries.

On the way home we stopped in Branson to play in the Silver Dollar City theme park. Ern was a little tired by the car ride when we firt got into the park and needed a mom-cuddle.

Laura introduced him to the spray park and he was immediately happy. They also have a big ball playground, and Ernie taught himself how the ball vaccuums worked and had a great time with Grandma and Grandpa while Mom, Dad, Aunt Laura, and Uncle Tim road some of the big coasters. The one ride Ernie could go on is the boat through the mines, where you shoot at targets. Even holding a toddler, Grandpa Darrell beat everyone else's scored by about four times.

Thanks for a great trip!

Fourth of July

All Ernie's Hall uncles and aunts were in Omaha for the Fourth, and Grandpa Denie arranged for Ern to ride the tractor Grandpa Darrell made in the Cryer Street Parade. Mom and Aunt Laura are commissioning a motor for the tractor before it starts the parade circuit again.

Catching up!

We're back from destinations near and far, and finally organized enough to do some updating. Here comes some catch-up posts!
