I FOUND SNUGGLE PUPPY!!!!!
Heavens be praised. Someone throw me a party!
I got to thinking, that even though Jeremy checked the neighbor's porch he probably didn't nose around. Well, I did. I remember SP gets stuck in play ovens at the ice cream store and the church play room. Sure enough, he was in their play oven. Been there since Saturday. I returned to Ernie's room and said "Guess what I found?" And then the kid who hasn't even asked about him since Saturday, says "Where was he?" before I even showed him who I was talking about. I told him, and he snuggled him and said "Now I have friends!" Then he told me to put Brown Bear away and went to sleep.
Phew.

Growing up
Two things:
Lenora started solid foods, beginning with veggies. Her poop really stinks now, and it's thick. This is a necessary development, but not a fun transition. She does seem to like the orange veggies a lot so far, though!
And (please try to keep this quiet) Snuggle Puppy is gone. Maybe forever. It happened on Mom's watch, on Saturday. Either he's hidden away somewhere in the house we haven't looked yet, or he was left on our neighbor's porch and one of their granddaughters ran off with him. The weirdest thing is Ernie doesn't seem to mind. He may have just grown out of him. Two weeks ago he was left at Target and there were tears and a demand to "Go to Target, REAL fast!" Then last week he was forgotten at the library, and Ern slept without him for his nap and recovered him afterwards. And now, he barely shrugged when I told him I couldn't find him before bedtime. I hope he's more sentimental when he breaks up with his first girlfriend.
In the meantime, if you find a blue Ty puppy with barely any stuffing left, please send him to our house. I'd like to have him, for posterity's sake.
