Otherwise known as the huffy face. Ernie used to do this when he was little, as just a happy expression of regard for his loved ones: wrinkle up his nose and snort air in and out real fast. Lenora now does it too! She does it most often to dad, but this morning she did it to Ernie and he did it back (it was adorable!).
We were never really successful at getting a video of Ernie doing it, and I'm hoping we'll get something preserved of Lenora's baby snort/huffy face. It's fun seeing that our two kids are weird on the same way.

Morning conversations with Ernie
This morning Ernie was saying he'd rather sit on the steps and think about it than brush his teeth. So I asked "Are you going to be Daddy's little helper today?" Of course he said "No!" So I asked "Are you going to be Daddy's foil?" and he said "I think I'd just rather go to a graveyard." I asked what he would do there. He said "Find a puppet to sleep with."
Whenever he's trying half-assedly to be naughty and he can tell it's not fazing us, he always resorts to creepy.

Nummers

Lenora has really taken to solids. She's now had the full gamut of baby menu items, and eats three meals per day.
And Ernie is now able to hold ice cream treats by their stick, which is a new development from last summer. That's nice, because it's hard to push a stroller and hold someone's ice cream, and it's near impossible to hold onto the ice cream instead of the stick and still expect to eat it.
Mother's Day
I had a great Mother's Day. The Mohrs invited us and the Halls over for a delicious dinner (I ate way too many potatoes) and the weather was more than agreeable. Of course my favorite thing was snuggling with my kids, and I also love sharing them with their grandparents who love them so much.
Doesn't Len look sweet in her little pinafore?

Ernie snuck in and hugged me as well.

Grandmas got pansie baskets decorated by Ernie (while Lenora watched).
And Grandpas shot off some air rockets with Ernie.
Seriously, aren't they the cutest?
There would be more pictures of Ernie, except he never stands still. So here's another of Lenora, this time with Grandpa Denie!
