Waving Hi!

Ernie learned to wave back and forth with a flat hand, a new development that he considers a hello wave, vs. his closed handed good-bye wave. It happened for the first time last week when Jeremy had him strapped into the car seat and walked behind the car, Ernie smiled at him and waved! I caught him at it when he and Daddy were checking the NFL draft online.

Ernie's Endorsement of the Week: Smiles!

We call this one the crazy/happy smile (slightly evil but still on the adorable side)

And this one the chubby little girl smile.

Complete with Rockers!

Grandpa Mohr finished Ernie's birthday tractor and re-delivered it this weekend. He was making removeable rockers, so Ernie can rock with it or roll with it! Awesome!

Longhair

Ernie's needed a haircut for a while, but as it gets longer it gets curlier. We're now determined to let it stay long at least until Aunt Laura gets to see it in its full curly glory. We're a bit afraid Ernie will look too much like a big boy after a haircut.

Remember Easter?

That was a while ago. Well, Ernie was looking sharp, and it's never too late to share a picture with this many handsome men in it:

Ernie's Endorsement of the Month: Flowers and Trees!

I guess its springtime! Ernie's been fascinated by trees since he took walks in his infant seat, but now that he's older and able to have us walk him anywhere he likes, he's even more enamored with the giants outside. We walk, we see a tree, points and say "Tee!!! Tee!!" we divert our path toward the tree, pat the tree repeating "Teeeee. Teeee." either in celebration or recognition (we're not sure) and then declare "Daah! [done]" and move on another four steps until the cycle begins again with the next "Teee! Teee!"
And flowers. They are everywhere on our walks. Mom and Dad find all kinds of blossoms breaking forth on ground cover (sometimes known as "weeds") and tees. We can hold up to two flowers at once, and when we're asked how our flower is or if we like our pretty flower, we offer it to the questioner for smell, and laugh at how funny they look smelling a daffodil.
Ah, spring.

Tickles!

There is nothing so inherently bloggy as blogging about why you haven't been blogging lately. So instead, enjoy Ernie's early morning tickle fest and a few updated posts.
Ernie loves you all! Trust us, he's been doing interesting stuff since the beginning of the month, so its not his fault his blog isn't updated!

Naked = FAST!

Try this at home, Ernventurers. Take off all your clothes and go somewhere. Anywhere you might usually go. If Ernie's experiements crawling clothesless prove true, you will be at least 5x faster than normal.
