Ernie is really REALLY loving Kindergarten. He wants to do crafts and play school constantly (amazing for the kid that, when asked to do craft time at preschool or church, just scribbled some lines on the paper and said "there!" to get back to playing faster). He's doing a great job of spelling, too. We've learned he sort of spells according to his lisp when he's sounding out the words. He recently wanted to write a thank-you to Mom's custodian at work for a gift of a child's book of trees. He insisted Dad give him the letters to make the "ch" sound, because "I say 'chrees.'"
And he wanted to write letters to the whole family, complete with homemade envelopes that used up every last glue-dot in the house. But he couldn't quite figure out how to spell "For" on the envelopes, so we were blessed with sweet letters that said:
"FU Jeremy. From Ernie."

"Jeremy"? What about "Dad"? Too funny. FU, Jeremy! OH, that had me rolling!
