You know you've had a great time when you throw up afterwards!

The 60th Powell Reunion was in Missouri Valley, Iowa this last Sunday. Ernie had a BLAST! He didn't mind missing a nap at all. He got to play with his cousin Kittrick plenty, and can now say "Kittrick" correctly instead of "Trick-kick." Here's the moms witht the cousins, both incubating two more cousins one week apart:
They shared trucks up and down the picnic benches. Kittrick liked to play emergency vehicle monster ralley, and Ernie mostly liked rescuing people. But they still got along sharing toys!

And Kitt taught Ern to be brave on the slide!

We thought we had timed out but caught a second wind and went swimming. I do not know if there is anything he loves more than swimming. He did not stop splashing the whole time, and several times went underwater (on purpose?).

He was completely distraught to have to leave the pool. He was crying saying "Ernie needs to go sit on that bulldozer to feel better!" and had himself so upset and worked up. Then he puked all over mom. He felt better, and had a good nap in the car. Mom didn't need that purse anymore, anyway.

We can't wait for the next one!

Maybe the magic formula for me this whole time has been to sit on a bulldozer...why didn't I think of that?

Haha, Jen! If that would work, I would personally courier a bulldozer to you.
It was a totally random comment. I don't even know if there was a bulldozer in the area. He's such a weird kid sometimes.
