Time for another trip to Shelby, Iowa for Carsten Farm Days!
Both kids were big enough to ride in the tractor barrel train. The tractorbus was evidentally out for service. We spent quite a bit of time convinced it was juuuuust over there. Maaaaybe over there, but eventually relented and tried to enjoy ourselves without a ride on a tractorbus.

Tractor boys.

This carriage is a horse-drawn schoolbus. It seats about a dozen kids, and there's a lever on the ceiling to open the back door. New ways to open doors! Ernie was delighted.

We met up with cousins Kitt and Maisie for the parade!
Sweet little girls.

After about 200 or so tractors in a row, the tractor toys in your hand are a bit more exciting than a parade.

Lenora spent most of the parade trying to poke mommy's eyes out with her sunglasses. She reserved the sweetness for Lisa. Tractorkiss!
